I grew up in Kansas City, the youngest of 4. My father is an attorney and my mother was an artist and I try to incorporate both parts into my practice. I strive to use creativity and passion together with a strong sense of justice and analytical thinking to find the best solution for my clients.
I received my bachelor's degree in History from the University of Kansas (Don't hold that against me, Tigers) and I still enjoy learning about a variety of topics. While at KU, I was engaged in many activities including volunteering and playing on the club rugby team.
After my time at KU, I spent several years traveling and working around the world, trying to learn as much as I could and striving to change the world in any way possible. I loved every minute of my time abroad, but nothing beats home, so I came back and went to the same law school as my dad, Washburn University of Law.
Prior to opening my own practice, I worked with my dad and learned everything I could about how to fight with everything you have for your clients. Once he felt confident in me, I decided to take what I had learned and open my own practice.
When I am not finding the best way to help my clients succeed, I enjoy relaxing with my family and friends, woodworking in my garage and occasionally I still play rugby, but I am starting to realize I am not as young as I used to be.
As a Kansas City native, I take pride in representing members of my community. I am consistent, patient, and professional, giving each new case the attention it deserves by walking you through each step of the process. My goal is to help you through the most difficult part of your life, not add to it.
With any legal matter, you should expect the best from your attorney and with Alex Hodges Law Firm, you will get the best.
